The San Javier Festival takes to the streets with a contemporary circus show "A S'ombra", in the Plaza de España in San Javier
The San Javier Festival takes to the streets tomorrow, Tuesday, August 14, with the free show "A S'ombra" by the contemporary circus company Atirofijo Circ, which can be seen at 10pm at the Plaza de España in San Javier .
It is a contemporary circus piece in which its creators carry out a research process proposing new forms and languages mixing the work of the actors and the history they represent with the circus language including disciplines of the genre such as the trapeze in flight, the throwing of knives, acrobatic balances and manipulation of objects.
The show shows two individuals who live in a world outside of time and on a perpetual journey that has them condemned to the errant life accustomed to take advantage of the opportunity to live and play with what life offers them.
With the language of circus as the protagonist, the show shows a succession of surprising, extravagant and eccentric events that will keep spectators in suspense.
The company Atirofijo Circ was created in 2015, in Mallorca, by Guillem Vizcaíno and Mari Paz Arango, united by the desire to find new forms of staging through the circus with its own language.
With "A S'ombra", a street show for a family audience with a duration of 45 minutes, they won the second prize in the circus number contest La Matx de Circ, from the Circaire Festival.
