The City Council of San Javier will continue to support the Association of Friends of the Saharaui Mar Menor People with the renewal of a collaboration agreement signed by the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and Rocio Solano president of the charity association through which the City Council provides a 2500 euros aid that is traditionally used to cover part of the expenses generated by the Vacation in Peace program that allows children living in the Saharawi camps to spend the summer hosted by families in San Javier.
Also, within the agreements signed by the City Council with associations and non-profit entities of the municipality, the mayor and the president of the Housewives Association of Santiago de la Ribera, Carmen Romero signed the extension for one year of the agreement that It will involve the contribution of 1000 euros as an aid to the maintenance and revitalization of the association.
