The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the president of the Friends of the Saharaui People Association, Rocío Solano have signed the renewal of the collaboration agreement that the City Council maintains with the solidarity organization that will receive a contribution of 2,500 euros to help support them to the Saharawi people.The collaboration agreement aims to develop social awareness actions on the current situation of the Sahrawi refugees in the Tindouf camps, Algeria, among other initiatives.Rocío Solano regretted that the "Holidays in Peace" program has been temporarily interrupted due to the pandemic until the situation allows the summer stays of Saharawi children taken in by families in the area to be scheduled again.
