The Association of Radio and Television Professionals of the Region of Murcia, ARTV, has awarded the City of San Javier with one of its "Silver Microphones" in recognition of its cultural activity in which highlights the organization of the International Theater Festival, Music and Dance, which celebrates 48 editions, and the International Jazz Festival that has been held for 20 years.
The jury, unanimously, also valued the municipal commitment to Culture and the ability to generate new cultural events such as the "Don Juan Tenorio Dream and reality in the cemetery of San Javier", or the Amateur Theater Competition, among others actions that take place throughout the year.
The award ceremony of the "Antennas and Microphones of Silver" Awards, granted by the Association that brings together the professionals of Radio and Television, in Murcia, will take place next Wednesday, November 29 at the Romea Theater in Murcia.
The Councilor for Culture David Martinez has highlighted "the honor that supposes for the City of San Javier to receive this award and the satisfaction of seeing all our efforts recognized for the promotion of Culture in our town by Murcian radio and television professionals "
