Judith Pardo, from the comparsa "Rio" proclaimed Queen of the Carnival of Santiago de la Ribera 2018 (12/02/2018)

The comparsa Rio returns to crown its Musa as Queen of the Carnival of Santiago de la Ribera for the second year in a row during the queen election gala that took place on Saturday night in which the young Judith Pardo, was elected Queen with a brilliant staging in which he wore a fantasy designed by Eustaquio Espinosa, along with his muse, Javier Pérez.

The local monologue Juan Luis Hurtado "Ropper" filled with humor and laughter the packed carnival tent with his proclamation to start a night in which the comparsas compete for the title of Queen, surpassing each year with spectacular presentations in the wake of Carnival Canary.

The comparsas Olé Olá, with Carmen Ballester;

"Those who were missing" with Bárbara Ramírez;

"Let yourself go with the Pioneers", with Elena Gallego and "Akelarre" with Susana Sánchez completed a night in which the jury, made up of professionals from the sector, had the most difficult role.

If the comparsa Rio repeats reign, the comparsa "Los que faltaban" gets its third consecutive Children's Carnival Queen, thanks to chance because in this case it is chosen by a draw among the seven candidates who attended the children's title, which since yesterday has held the girl Chloe Cantón who presented the fantasy "The Thousand and One Nights" accompanied by her muse Alejandro Gómez.

As with the adult muses, the small ones also star in brilliant musical choreographies accompanied by a muso, to present their designs.

"Olé Olá" with Fatima Kota participated with the winner;

"Akelarre" with Raquel Meroño;

"Bora Bora" with Carmen María López;

"Rio" with Nerea Gómez, and "Déjate Llevar con Los Pioneros" with Nayara Madrid.
