With a conference on "Protection of Fundamental Rights of the European Union after the Treaty of Lisbon, the Supreme Court Justice and Professor of Constitutional Law, Luis María Díez-Picazo Giménez, will open the summer course titled University of Murcia "The new European Union."
The course, encompassed within the International University of the Sea, proposing a debate on the new open stage after the release and implementation of the Lisbon Treaty last December 1, 2009.
The initiative will address the various issues that arise in the Union after the failed attempt at a constitution, and will include security policies, defense and justice in this new framework.
This is the first time that a course in the Universidad del Mar is located in the General Air Academy in San Javier, though, for 16 years, the Academy has participated in the development of summer courses University of Murcia offering barracks facilities of Los Alcazares.
Participants who wish to have the opportunity to stay free in the facilities of the Academia General del Aire.
Likewise, those who wish may access a "baptism of flight" during his stay in the center.
The activity will be led by Professor of the University of Murcia Fernando Navarro, who will be responsible for closing the year with the conference "Quo vadis Europe?".
The course will be held between 19 and 22 July, and who enroll in it shall be entitled to two free credits.
The registration period is extended until the day before the course starts.
