The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez and Agricultural Association president COAG-IR El Mirador, Emilio Alfonso Martinez this morning signed an annual agreement for cooperation between the two institutions, in the presence of the council of Agriculture, Celia Martinez stressed "The benefits of this agreement to boost the agricultural sector of our municipality."
Juan Martinez has highlighted the active work of this organization which will soon celebrate 20 years in the municipality in terms of advice and assistance to farmers.
The mayor of Agriculture, Celia Martinez recalled "the excellent level of cooperation and communication between the Association and the council, and announced the development of joint projects.
The councilor said that despite the cut in € 5,000 which includes the agreement, "I'm sure it will be fruitful work and effort of both parties."
The 15,000 euros of municipal contribution will fund staff working in the office of El Mirador, where a technician manages the agricultural aid, and three others dealing with tax advice and care and labor among the more than 200 companies related to the organization, said its president Emilio Alfonso Martinez thanked municipal support received during the 20 years of existence of the association.
