The Senior General Manager of the Murcian Institute for Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Perez, praised the work of the 22 volunteers from the Senior Community Center of San Javier in the awarding of diplomas from 2011-2012.
Thus, the largest in San Javier enjoyed throughout the year of operation theater, painting, walking, tai-chi, memory or emotional well-being, among others.
Perez said that "these free activities are conducted through close collaboration with the municipal and volunteers as a thank you to the greatest, provide us with both sharing their hobbies and interests."
The CEO explained that there have been a total of 22 workshops with the assistance of the City and volunteers among them there are also older people who volunteer in their own center.
During the 2011-2012 academic year are 450 users who have been involved in the workshops of the Senior Community Center of San Javier.
In this regard, Perez said "it is a way to thank the seniors all the contributions made over the years to society."
