The exhibition which will be open in the afternoon in the civic center of the town for all the festivities was opened by the Environment Councillor Celia Martinez, and the author of the same in a ceremony attended by the mayor pedánea El Mirador, Isabel Carrillo and dozens of neighbors.
The exhibition is the sea and fishing within the municipality, an agricultural marking where neighbors also know the hardness of opencast working at the expense of nature.
The sample "a jewel wings let future generations," said the mayor of Environment, aims also to show "that it is possible to live on respect in a natural environment that nourishes us and also we are bound for life" in the words of Celia Martinez.
Photographer Jose Luis Villaescusa always conceived this work in black and white and with its integrated players in their natural environment.
The catalog of the exhibition, published by the Department of the Environment, contains graphic and oral testimony from more than two dozen families and names of Santiago de la Ribera attached to fishing.
The Arenas Perez Canovillas, Zerrica, Gurullo, The Twins, The Triqui, The Moyo, The Zagales, Mariche and many others form a complete mosaic reconstructs the history of fishing in the town with his memories and his testimonies and his image framed by the photographer who confesses especially enjoyed the talks he had with the stars of the show.
The exhibition which opened in the presence of the protagonists last summer in the civic center of Santiago de la Ribera, will itinerant character, and after passing through La Manga and now in El Mirador, continue touring other parts of the municipality.
