The IES "Mar Menor" of San Javier has raised 1,732 euros to be spent on aid to Haiti through the NGO Doctors Without Borders.
Students, teachers, other staff and parents of students joined together to celebrate a day of solidarity, with a market of temporary objects, and several workshops along with financial donations allowed them to raise 1,732 euros.
The initiative was part of the celebration of Santo Tomás de Aquino, became the center in a space where time could be an attractive buy at flea markets, students in vocational modules, opening their hair and beauty workshops, characterization , massage, manicure, and even blood pressure measurements.
The educational community center turned both the organization and in the development and use of joint activity that was successful.
