Responsible for Municipal Policy IU in the region, José Luis Alvarez-Castellanos, today called for the resignation of councilman who illegally billed to the municipality of San Javier and demanded that the mayor of the town, Pepa Garcia, appropriate responsibilities debug in this case.
Alvarez-Castellanos was speaking after Garcia admitted that the mayor of Celebration and Tourism of the CDL, billed to the municipality about 12,000 euros since 2007 for the accommodation of diverse people who ran the hotel in Santiago de la Rivera.
He noted that the mayor should explain publicly because its arguments, noting that it was common practice in previous legislatures did not know that this can not be done, "does not satisfy us at all."
It has also demanded the establishment of a commitment by all local groups to implement and enforce governance code drawn up by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces in consensus with all political forces.
