The latest edition of the fair Outlet held from 1 to 4 April in Santiago de la Ribera ended with a turnover of approximately € 300,000 as estimated by the trade associations of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, although the impact global economic event was locally reached the 731.009euros.
These figures are provided by a survey conducted by an external consultancy commissioned by the Local Development council, "to know more precisely the economic impact that the show could have on the town," explained the mayor José Luis Espinosa, who has highlighted "the excellent results shown by this study, both for traders and administrations to support the event."
According to data from the study of economic impact the fair was visited by a total of 31,774 people from a 67.2 percent made any purchase with an average expenditure per person of 44.8 percent.
San Javier with 38.6 percent and Madrid with a 17.5 percent were the main sources of visitors, followed by the city of Murcia and San Pedro del Pinatar, giving each a 11 per cent of the total.
