Two male residents of Cartagena, 27 and 33 years old, were arrested last night in La Manga for a joint intervention by local police and Civil Guard on suspicion of theft at an establishment in the department store El Souk.
The detainees, who were identified by the witness who gave notice to the local police would have broken the shutter and door of a bakery, located in El Souk, within which appeared the cash register open and the floor.
The physical description of the two men was key to its location, at eleven o'clock at night, near the commercial area where local police and civil guard had begun their search.
At the time of identification was found carrying a large quantity of coins in their pockets.
The detainees, GJS, 27 and PFP, 33, both residents of Cartagena, were taken to Civil Guard barracks in Cabo de Palos for his remand in custody.
