About 40 volunteers cleaned and restored in June and July Beach La Hita, between the airport of San Javier and Los Alcazares on the Mar Menor.
The project has the support of the CAM, which provides 6,200 euros, and the Cluster Foundation for the Protection and Conservation of the Mar Menor, a subsidiary organization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water.
Activities include training courses, beach cleaning, placement of billboards and posters, identification and collection of specimens and bird banding and the development of a herbarium.
