Santiago de la Ribera becomes from Friday morning the headquarters of the most important custom motorcycle concentration in Spain and one of the largest in Europe, the Hot Rally-San Javier that will receive 3000 motorcycles and more than 5,000 people arriving from all Spain and the rest of European countries, organized by Hot Rally Murcia Chapter with the collaboration of the City of San Javier.
The event, open to the public, with a program of free outdoor concerts will also attract thousands of people who will be able to admire the motorcycles on the Paseo Colon, and enjoy the live music of Nacha Pop, Santi Campillo, Javier Urquijo, Boo Devils, and the official band Tributo a Metallica, Scream INC, on the Barnuevo esplanade, on Friday and Saturday nights.
The genuine American biker atmosphere will take over the town from the afternoon of Friday the 25th to Sunday the 27th in the Barnuevo esplanade and the Colón promenade, which will host thousands of classic and retro motorcycles customized by their owners, so there will not be one like it.
The market of spare parts and objects to customize motorcycles, T-shirts and other related objects will help to create a unique atmosphere on a weekend that last year attracted thousands of people, including participants and the public, by hanging the poster full in all the hotels in the area.
The opening of XV Hot Rally San Javier Motorcycles and Music will take place tomorrow, Friday May 25 at 5pm.
The live music will start playing on the Barnuevo esplanade at 10.30pm with Retropop, followed at 00h by Santi Campillo, Murcian rock guitarist, who was the founder of M-Clan.
The night will end with Javier Urquijo, founding member of Los Secretos.
On Saturday, May 26, the atmosphere will begin to boil at 10 am animated by the rock band Blueswing.
A paella will gather the participants at 2.30 pm before embarking on a motorcycle route that includes the interior of the AGA.
At 8pm there will be a Bike Show on the Barnuevo esplanade and at night, starting at 10:30 pm, the concerts will resume with Boo Devils, Nacha Pop, and the Ukrainians of Scream INC, official tribute band to Metallica.
On Sunday the 27th at 10am, the biker atmosphere will resume on Paseo Colón, from where the last route will depart with all the participants at 11.30am which will end up in the Barnuevo esplanade to bid farewell to this year's edition with a barbecue.
