The mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the councilman of Celebrations, Pedro López met yesterday with representatives of the commercial and hospitality sector of Santiago de la Ribera to inform them of the upcoming mass events that are planned to be held in the town so that they can organize and schedule your business strategy in advance.
The meeting also involved other councilors involved as María Dolores Ruiz, responsible for Public Services.
The most immediate event is the Hot Rally that disembarks this weekend on the sea front with the assistance of 3,000 motorcycles and more than 5000 participants, to which will be added the thousands of people who attend throughout the three days as public , including the two nights of free concerts that will take place on Friday and Saturday night in the Barnuevo esplanade.
For the 9th and 10th of June, it is expected that around 400,000 people will come to the town to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the AGA, which includes an open day at the AGA, an international air show on the Mar Menor, with the main Spanish and foreign acrobatic patrols, and an exhibition that will host the Barnuevo House occupying the entire building.
The patron saint festivities, and the Jazz and Theater festivals that reserve several free outdoor performances in the town, will also fill the esplanade and the seafront with public on different dates of July and August.
Another important milestone of the summer will be the arrival of the Tour of Spain, the municipality on August 30.
San Javier will host a goal of the Vuelta, which implies a stop of all the machinery of the Vuelta both sports and animation, which is also planned to attract thousands of people.
