The Barnuevo House, Santiago de la Ribera hosts until Sunday June 10 an exhibition on the 75 years of history of the General Air Academy through its airplanes, uniforms, shields, and other signs of identity of the military institution throughout its 75 years of existence.
The mayor José Miguel Luengo and the director of the AGA, Miguel Ivorra, inaugurated yesterday afternoon the exhibition in which you can also consult the borders of all the promotions of Army officers trained in the Academy throughout these 75 years, together to photographs, videos and many curiosities that help to "make known and open the military institution to the citizens," said Colonel Miguel Ivorra.
The exhibition, which can be visited from nine in the morning to nine at night, also allows knowing the interior of what was the first house in Santiago de la Ribera, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, Mayor José Miguel Luengo recalled. He thanked his owners for the transfer of the property to receive the sample.
The initiative coincides and complements the weekend of marked aeronautical character that will live the municipality on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the AGA that will attract more than 300,000 people to attend the open day at the AGA tomorrow, Saturday 10 at 5pm and the International Air Festival that takes place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 10 June.
