The councilman of Culture, David Martinez and the library coordinator, Toni Diaz, today presented the programming of the municipal library of San Javier for the summer months that is revealed as a "complement to the abundant cultural offer of the summer in the municipality and a way of not neglecting reading during the holidays, "said the mayor of Culture.
Among the summer proposals, the library proposes its "Readings chiringuiteras" taking books to the beach bars for free use of the public.
The storytellers also go summer to the libraries of Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga del Mar Menor in July and August, as well as the book market that will visit the weekly markets of the two beach towns.
Visiting and using libraries in summer will have a reward.
The game "Leer compensates" consisting of leaving a file for each book borrowed in the library, will draw at the end of July tickets for the International Festival of Theater, Music and Dance.
Selfies reading inside libraries also have a prize.
The best will enjoy a dinner for two that will be raffled in September.
During the summer several books will be presented, such as "Perdición", by Paloma Montero, on June 28;
"Stories to advance", on July 5, and "Gestas de España" by the brothers Miguel and Gloria Cuenca, on August 4, among others.
The talks that are held throughout the year, proposed by library users also continue summer.
