The guitarist Carlos Piñana, presented today accompanied by the Councilor for Culture, David Martinez and Councilor for Equality, Estibaliz Masegosa, his show "Body & Soul" with which he will perform at the auditorium of San Javier on Sunday June 24 framed in the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Specialized Attention Center for Women Victims of Gender Violence, CAVI, of San Javier.
Carlos Piñana highlighted the meaning and love he feels for the show "Body & Soul", whose body and soul translation refers to dance and music in flamenco, two languages ​​told by the voice of his brother, the cantaor Curro Piñana, that completes the cast of collaborations with Miguel Ángel Orengo on percussion, and Cristóbal Muñoz and Nadia Márquez on the dance.
The councils of Culture and Equality have come together to offer the public this show for free as a celebration of the ten years of existence of CAVI San Javier, which has served 1,500 women.
The objective, together with other initiatives such as the "Reto 1500 molinillos", is to recognize the work done and give social visibility to the important work carried out by the professionals of the regional center for women victims of gender violence, said the mayor Estíbaliz Masegos.
