The Aidemarcha 2018, the charity race organized by the Association for the Integration of People with Disabilities in the Mar Menor region, AIDEMAR, will be held on Saturday, July 7 with a distance of 5km for runners, another distance of 3km for runners. walkers and a new edition of the successful Mini Aidemarcha.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the general director of Sports Alonso Gómez accompanied today the manager of Aidemar, Miguel Andreu, and the sporting director of the center, Pedro Martínez in the presentation "of what has become one of the the most important social and sporting events of the year in San Javier, "said the mayor, José Miguel Luengo.
The athletic director of Aidemar, Pedro Martinez explained that the start of the race will take place from the door of the Conservatory at 9pm for runners who will cover a distance of 5 km from San Javier to the Barnuevo esplanade, following the Paseo Colón towards the Ciudad del Aire and return to the esplanade where the goal will be.
The walkers will cover the 3km that separate San Javier from the esplanade.
The Mini Aidemarcha, for children up to 12 years old, will be played one hour before the general start, in San Javier.
The race, which has already registered more than 1000 people, with forecasts of reaching 3,000 participants, has animation on departure and arrival, with the help of 300 volunteers who will work on the development of the event.
The bag of the runner will have a technical shirt and a towel, among other details and the winners in the different modalities will be given for the first time a doll that reproduces the mascot of the race, all prepared and prepared by the users of Aidemar of their different centers.
The price of the inscriptions will be 10 euros for the 5km, 5 euros for the 3km, and 5 euros for the Mini Aidemarcha.
Likewise, a Solidarity Dorsal has been opened starting at 5 euros.
Registration can be done at www.aidemarcha.com until July 3 when the online registration will be closed although if there were still available numbers would be sold in Automenor, San Pedro del Pinatar, one of the sponsors of the race where you can also pick up the numbers previously, or in his case before the race.
The manager of Aidemar, Miguel Andreu thanked the City Council for its collaboration through all the municipal services that facilitate an event that gathers 3000 people and thanked the sponsors for their involvement "without which the Aidemarcha would be impossible".
Andreu highlighted the fact that the race has transcended the charitable nature with which it started to become a sporting event and a brand image for Aidemar, and announced the delivery of the Dorsal 1 to Rufino García Quesada, founder of Aidemar.
The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo congratulated the entire team of Aidemar "for the enormous achievement achieved with this event so dear to all in San Javier" and pointed to the "City Council's response to an initiative with so much heart."
The General Director of Sports, Alongo Gómez, who supported the Aidemarcha 2018 with his presence, congratulated Aidemar and the City Council, and highlighted the symbiosis between sport and solidarity that unites this initiative.
The presentation, held at the San Javier City Council, was attended by the Councilor for Sports, Estíbaliz Masegosa and the winning runner in multiple editions, Alberto González, as well as sponsors and a large group of Aidemar students who are preparing for one year more to live the most multitudinous event they celebrate a year.
