The Councilor for Health Catalina Perez and the president of the Association against Cancer in San Javier, Antonio Cerezuela attended this morning to open the Mobile Unit of Breast Cancer Prevention that is in the Almansa Park of San Javier today and tomorrow for the realization of free mammograms to women between 45 years old (or who meet them in 2018) up to 49 years.
For this morning 60 women have registered and the previous appointment, is still open for tomorrow Friday when the mobile unit of the Provincial Board of the AECC of Murcia, will be operational again all morning in San Javier.
Last year there were almost 150 women who underwent a mammogram through this same campaign, Antonio Cerezuela recalled.
The mayor of Health, Catalina Pérez thanked the work of the association against cancer in San Javier and its efforts to influence prevention.
Pérez encouraged the women to take advantage of this opportunity to get the diagnostic tests for free, thanks to the AEC that advances the age at which the mammograms are performed by the Health System that begins at age 50.
