The Plaza de España in San Javier will be filled with Swing with the concert of Dómisol Sisters, a female vocal group specialized in the American repertoire from the 20s to the 50s of the 20th century.
The Domisol Sisters: Elena and Paula Almendros, Carla Sanz and Mireia Serrano, accompanied by the seven musicians that make up the Sedajazz Swing Brothers will take the audience to the Golden Age of Swing with a vibrant concert, in which it will be difficult to contain the movement.
The group, which emerged in Valencia in 2012, will present their second album "Take that Swing!", In the wake of groups of the time such as the Andrews Sisters, which has made lindy hopp and swing lovers crazy and in general, lovers of the vocal groups of the 30s and 40s in the United States.
Since they recorded their first album "Get on Board" (2012) and after being seen in their unforgettable live shows, with an original staging, Dómisol Sisters have become one of the most original Jazz proposals on the national scene.
The voices and the repertoire full of classics that arrived at that time from the other side of the Atlantic with songs like "Chattenoga Choo Choo", "Baby Will not You Please Come Home", "In the Mood", "Night and Day" or "Love Me or Leve Me", will sound like in those days thanks to excellent Valencian musicians like Eduard Marquina on piano, Jaume Guerra on double bass and Simene Zanitol on drums, along with a first class wind section composed by Fede Crespo on trumpet, Toni Belenguer on trombone, Ramón Cardo on tenor sax and Latino Blanco on baritone sax.
