The Mar Menor stars in the new exhibition of the painter Fulgencio Saura Mira that can be seen in the Museum of San Javier until September 15.
Under the title "Reflejos" the show evidences a turn of the screw in the work of Saura Mira who is shown as an impressionist painter with winks, even to abstraction.
"The abstraction that I never understood, now I have come to intuit through the Mar Menor," says the painter who has searched with daring strokes the reflections that sparkle in the lagoon, away from the Murcian baroque costumbrismo that has characterized much of his work .
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, the general director of Environment and Mar Menor, Antonio Luengo, the mayor of Culture, David Martínez, the painter and the curator of the exhibition, Elisa Franco presented this morning the exhibition in the same room where the final touches are given for the public opening that will take place on Friday, July 6 at 8pm.

The general director of the Mar Menor, Antonio Luengo pointed out the efforts that are being made for the recovery of the Mar Menor and the signs of improvement that are being experienced "but something more is needed, we must transmit the culture of the Mar Menor, one of the seven natural wonders of the Region of Murcia ".
