The general director of Youth, Fran Sánchez and the concajela of Youth, Estibaliz Masegosa met yesterday with the group of students of the Conservatory of Music of San Javier and the Department of Youth, which in the coming days will travel to the city of the Alps French, Gresse-en-Vercors to participate in a new Erasmus + program in which they will participate together with young people from France, Bosnia, Kosovo and Spain.
The new exchange in which the Conservatory of San Javier participates is called Gender Approach to Migrations in Europe (GAME), which will address the gender approach of migrations in Europe.
The promoter of the project is the French NGO Ballade, with the aim of creating links between communities and people through artistic pedagogical actions, in this case through music, using the traditions and roots of each country.
In this case was the Association of Mothers and Parents of Students of the Conservatory of San Javier which with the technical support of the Department of Youth of the City of San Javier requested the Spanish participation that will be composed of five students of the Conservatory and three young people related to different programs of the Department of Youth.
The theme of the exchange is concreted with a series of activities around the title "She migrant" "Ella migrante", in which there will be music (5 concerts), outdoor activities, thematic works, visits of experts, and debates of games pedagogical, among others.
The young people of San Javier will travel to the French Alps from August 4 to 14 within the exchange program that began in May 2018 and will end on December 31 of this year, with a total of 32 participants.
Both the general director of Youth, Fran Sánchez and the councilor Estíbaliz Masegosa stressed the importance of this type of exchange programs funded by the European Union for the experience and learning it entails for its participants.
Both congratulated the Conservatory for its dynamism in this regard, and guaranteed continuity in the promotion and technical support from the Administration to this type of initiatives.
