The boy Juan José Mazón, 11 years old and resident of San Javier, has been the winner of the drawing contest for the search of the mascot of the municipal parks convened by the Department of Parks and Gardens of the City of San Javier, and aimed at schoolchildren of Primary Education of the municipality.
The winning drawing representing a swing that gives life by putting arms, legs, and face, will be the new corporate image of the municipal parks in addition to exercising as a giant mascot in each new appointment of "In your park or in mine."
The mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the Councilor for Parks and Gardens, María Dolores Ruíz were in charge of delivering the prize, worth 200 euros, which was announced during the event "In your park or mine" held on Saturday December 15 in Esperanto Square, among the five finalist works of a total of 766 drawings presented.
The campaign of animation of municipal parks, "In your park or in mine", which is held monthly in different playgrounds, once again brought together dozens of children who on this occasion enjoyed a newly created park in Esperanto Square, of San Javier.
Christmas was the theme of the morning, in addition to a healthy breakfast, attendees could enjoy a Christmas musical theater and a workshop of recycled musical instruments.
