The Councilor for Police and Public Safety, Teresa Foncuberta will go to the Government Delegation to request more Civil Guard troops in the municipality, as reported after the meeting of the Local Security Board convened to address security in the municipality.
Foncuberta pointed out that although at present the rate of crime in the municipality is not alarming, it is no less true that some of the latest events that occurred within the municipality have caused some concern.
"The work of our security forces is excellent but a reinforcement in the number of Civil Guards would improve the effective work of the agents and increase the security of the citizens".
Foncuberta was convinced that "we will all work in the same direction to achieve a safer municipality, which is the goal we all have."
