The Association of Parents of Children with Hearing Impairment, APANDA will open next week a point of information and attention to children with hearing loss in San Javier thanks to the agreement signed today at City Hall between its president Encarnación Pérez and the acting mayor , Teresa Foncuberta, who was accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Catalina Pérez.
The agreement signed today consists of the cession of a space, in the facilities of the school "El Recuerdo" where APANDA technical staff will attend free the needs of the municipality and region, in the afternoon, from Monday to Friday.
The coordinator of the Association, Teresa Gómez explained that mainly in San Javier will be offered services of attention and support mainly of speech therapy.
The mayor of Education Catalina Pérez highlighted the work being done by APANDA that currently serves ten families of San Javier that will no longer have to travel to the headquarters of the Association in Cartagena.
"This agreement saves time and money for families who turn to APANDA and those who can join from now on," said the councilor.
