The plenary session today approved a motion on the compensation at the closure of the airport of San Javier presented by the Socialist group that abstained in the vote to approve an amendment of the Popular group supported by Ciudadanos-C's and the council not attached.
The original motion urged the regional government to prepare a study to develop an Economic Revitalization Plan to compensate for the losses caused by the closure of the airport while the approved finally recalls, in its explanatory part, that the Regional Government has already included in the regional budgets a game of 200,000 euros for the elaboration of said study.
The study of economic and tourism promotion proposed by the regional administration would result in "the creation of a consortium with all parties involved in the remodeling of the airport terminal to host the Infante de Orleans Foundation and its collection of historic aircraft in San Javier ", pointed the councilman of Finance Carlos Albaladejo who confirmed the decision of the board of directors of the FIO to move his collection to San Javier.
The final motion, which was approved with the favorable votes of the Popular groups, Citizens-C's and the non-attached councilor and the abstention of the Socialist and Win San Javier groups, urges the regional government to "make effective the subsidy, as well as the technical support for the preparation of the technical and administrative documents for the hiring of the study of economic and tourism dynamization of San Javier after the closure of the airport of San Javier.

The Plenary dismisses the request for a financial rebalancing proposed by the concessionaire of the underground parking
The Plenary Session of the San Javier City Council unanimously approved today the proposal to reject the request of the concessionaire of the underground parking of the center of the town to carry out an economic-financial re-balancing of the concession contracts to ensure the service due to the bad results of the exploitation from its origin alleged by the company.

The Plenary is committed to strengthening the measures of the State Pact on gender violence
The Plenary approved, also a motion "to reinforce the measures proposed in the state pact on gender violence", presented by the Socialist and Win San Javier groups and amended by the Popular group.
The motion agrees the commitment of the City of San Javier to strengthen and continue to value the measures contained in the State Pact on gender violence and expresses its "rejection of any political position that advocates the elimination or reduction of the measures of protection of women against sexist violence ".
Likewise, the motion "rejects the adoption of agreements related to the Gender Violence Law, with training that proposes the suppression or reduction of women's protection measures".
The motion was approved with the favorable votes of the Popular groups, Citizens-C's and the non-attached councilor and the abstention of the proponent groups Socialist and Win San Javier who had previously voted in favor of introducing the amendment of the Popular group.
The Plenary approves a motion on regulation of Personal Mobility Vehicles
The Plenary approved a motion presented by the group Citizens-C's in which the beginning of a file is requested for the possible modification of the current Ordinance of Circulation, to include precepts related to the use and circulation of the Personal Mobility Vehicles in the municipality of San Javier.
The motion maintains that this type of vehicle contributes to improving sustainability and can reduce the use of traditional vehicles, although it recalls the problem that the lack of regulation over them is causing in terms of safety.
The motion was approved with the favorable votes of all the groups except the Popular group that abstained based on a report from the Local Police Chief, cited by the Security Councilor, Teresa Foncuberta, in which he recalled that there is already a draft of the Directorate General of Traffic on Urban Traffic Measures or the tendency to a state solution as required by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) to the State to develop a general regulation "that would force us to change regulations."
