The agent of the Local Police of San Javier, José Manuel Navarro, expert in Information Technology, offered a talk on the consequences of misuse of New Technologies aimed at parents of students, in the CEIP "La Paz" , of San Javier.
The appointment with families closes the cycle of talks that the Police Tutor Unit of the Local Police of San Javier, has offered throughout the course to students of 6th grade, in the schools of Infant and Primary of the municipality , about the risks of ICTs and bullying.
The talk, which included translation service, among other measures to try to reach all groups, served, among other things, for families to become aware of the dangers to which their children are exposed by a misuse of these technologies through computers, mobile phones, tablets, and video games, among others.
Families, many of whom are unaware of the scope of this type of risk, could raise questions and doubts about it and receive practical advice from the agent.
This cycle of talks with families will continue given the importance that parents have when it comes to ensuring that their children make responsible use of technologies.
This action is part of the work of prevention, information and care for young people that is carried out continuously by the Local Police of San Javier with different specialists in various matters such as talks on the legal responsibility of minors and the campaign of Road Safety with the little ones.
