The works of the project "Urban renewal of Calderón de la Barca Avenue, Andrés Baquero Street and Avenida Aviación Española-Fase1", framed within the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy of San Javier, EDUSI San Javier, "Horizonte 2022, a City Viva ", co-financed by the European Fund for Sustainable Development (ERDF) at 80 percent, will entail the cutting of traffic on Calderón de la Barca avenue, starting on Wednesday, June 5, except residents and businesses.
The corresponding indicative sign that will be placed at the beginning of the avenue, at its confluence on Pinartar Avenue, will be accompanied by a series of informative signs that will indicate the detours towards Santiago de la Ribera in the round Plaza Chica, (confluence of Avenida de Balsicas and avenida Pinatar);
in the round one next to the Tanatorio (confluence of Pinatar avenue and Neptuno avenue);
in the round of Las Cadenas, in front of El Pino polygon and in the round one next to the Museum.
The works will involve the complete renovation of the urban services, with replacement of the road, more accessible sidewalks, lighting, and aesthetics of the public roads designated as Avenida Aviación Española, including electric vehicle charging stations and reorganization of the parking lots.
