The Xtromba, a new form of dance fitness that also works the mind and emotions will be the perfect excuse for the economic collection for the benefit of the protectors "Walking with them" and "Gatúnicos", while doing physical exercise.
The event, which was presented this morning by the acting councilor for Health, Catalina Pérez will be held on Sunday, June 23 at 8 pm in the parking area of ​​the Dos Mares shopping center in San Javier.
The sale of numbers for 5 euros will serve to raise money that will go to the maintenance of the protectors at the time that will enable a collection of food and pet products that will also be helpful in the daily care of the animals by the volunteers of the protectors.
Aranzazu Sánchez, president of "Gatúnicos" and Mari Carmen of "Walking for them" thanked the initiative of the Department of Health through its program of Public Health and Animal Welfare that has had the collaboration of the mall Dos Mares and the team of monitors of Xtromba, for the help that will be involved in the complicated task they perform.
Also present at the presentation were the director of the Dos Mares shopping center, Jorge Revuelto, and the director of Carrefour, Francisco Martínez, who were delighted to be able to contribute with this initiative through the necessary logistics for its realization while allowing them to participate in the social life of the municipality.
Councilor acting Health, Catalina Perez highlighted the work done by the protectors and was confident in the success of the initiative should also serve, he said, to give visibility and increase social awareness about their work and the responsibility we all have in animal health.
