For the tenth year, San Javier became the protagonist on the first Saturday of July, on the occasion of a celebration of popular athletics and solidarity.
This happened yesterday in the framework of the Aidemarcha 2019, departing at the Almansa Park in San Javier and ending in Santiago de la Ribera, also hosting the 17th round of the popular racing circuit Región de Murcia Running Challenge 2018/19.
All this, under the organization of the Association for the Integration of the Handicapped of the Mar Menor Region (AIDEMAR) in collaboration with the City Council and Sports Department of San Javier.
The absolute masculine triumph corresponded to the athlete of the UCAM Cartagena Sergio Fernández, also 1st Sub23 crossing the finish line at 15:10.
After him, Bienvenido Ballester, from the Mobel Automenor Running Team, Senior winner at 15:23, followed by 2nd Senior Alberto González, also from Mobel Automenor, at 3:50 pm.
On the feminine side the podium would be entirely made up of athletes from the Mobel Automenor Running Team, the fastest being Tania Salamanca, 1st Sub23 at 18:28, ahead of the 1st Senior Ana Isabel Cánovas, finishing at 18:29, as well as 2nd Senior Mª Isabel Pelegrín, who stopped the clock at 19:25.
