Sport and solidarity come back to coincide in the II Villa de San Javier Golf Tournament that will be held on August 24 at Roda Golf organized by the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Rare Diseases Association of San Javier, for the benefit of the Isabel Gemio Foundation, with the collaboration of the City Council of San Javier.
The Tournament, whose collection will be devoted entirely to the investigation of different projects through the Isabel Gemio Foundation, was presented this morning at the City Council of San Javier with the assistance of the Councilor for Sports, Sergio Martínez, the mayor of Health, Isidoro Miñano , the president of the convening Association, Germán Tezanos, the manager of Roda Golf, José Antonio Hernández and Andrés Pintado, of TheMagicGolf.com magazine, who collaborates in the organization.
The Tournament will be played in the individual Stableford category in male and female categories with prizes to the top three classified in each category, scratch and special prizes.
In addition to supplies, gifts and raffles there will be a trophy delivery ceremony and a final cocktail.
The organizers promise "a beautiful day of golf" for fans who from last Monday until August 21 can register at golfcourse@rodagolf.com and by phone 968 173 093.
The Councilor for Sports Sergio Martínez thanked the work of the Association for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Rare Diseases and the participation of Roda Golf and collaborating companies in an event that combines a sport like golf and solidarity through fundraising for research.
Martínez invited to participate and enjoy the Tournament in the surroundings of Roda Golf.
Germán Tezanos thanked the collaboration of the Department of Sports, Health and Tourism of the City of San Javier as well as the collaborating companies and recalled that the main objective of the association is to raise funds for research through sports.
