The donations of individuals for those affected by the floods continue to arrive at the collection center enabled in the building of the Department of Youth where this morning the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo received the mayor of the Murcian municipality of Pliego, Antonio Huescar, who He has moved to San Javier to deliver a shipment of donations from individuals, businesses and associations in his municipality who wanted to collaborate with the municipalities most affected by the rains.

At the same time a group of Norwegians, residents of La Manga, also downloaded their donations just as hundreds of people have done yesterday to help those most affected by the floods.

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo thanked his colleague at Pliego and all the anonymous people and businesses for their collaboration "in such a difficult time for many people."

The distribution of donations, mainly clothing, non-perishable food and personal hygiene and cleaning products is carried out in a coordinated manner from Social Services and Caritas.

The pick-up time will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

In addition, a telephone number, 646 586 242, has been enabled to arrange the delivery of equipment and furniture.

The donation center was opened yesterday Monday coinciding with the opening of the Office of attention to those affected by the floods in the City of San Javier from where the damages produced to record an assessment of them and offer advice on insurers are collected and possible help.

The office, through which more than one hundred people have already passed, remains open from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Also today an office has been opened in La Manga, with the same objective, located in the premises of the La Manga Consortium with attention from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The municipality continues to recover normalcy and all public services are delivered to the removal of the mud that remains in the streets and areas of the municipality.

With the incorporation of the CEIP Ntra. Mrs. of Loreto, of the City of the Air, today Tuesday, all the educational centers of the municipality are operative.
