The Councilor for Social Services, Estíbaliz Masegosa has praised the educational project that is being developed both at the Center for Child Care in Santiago de la Ribera and at the Point of Child Care of El Mirador after the commission of monitoring of both centers, dependent on the Department of Social Services, which have begun the course with renovation of furniture and equipment.
The two centers, which host a total of 100 children from 0 to 3 years old, work on education in values ​​and in a special way the care of the environment through games.
It also has a pool service once a week, for a first contact with the water and quarterly departures to points of interest related to the work of the classroom.
Masegosa recalled the breadth of the two centers whose main objective is to reconcile work and family life.
The potential schedule in both cases is from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. although they work according to demand.
Currently, the center of Santiago de la Ribera welcomes children from 07:00 to 19: 00h and ElMirador from 07:00 to 17: 00h.
They also function as a playroom for children up to 12 years in the afternoon after leaving school and offer dining service.
The mayor of Social Services Estíbaliz Masegosa showed her satisfaction at the end of the first meeting of the monitoring committee of both centers formed by staff of the service concession company, municipal Social Services staff, a representative of the majority opposition group in the City Council and the councilwoman who presides.
