The Local Security Board held an extraordinary meeting today, convened by the Councilor for Citizen Security, Rubén Pérez, which revealed the decline in crime and the increase in people detained in the municipality of San Javier according to the progress of the data of the Ministry of the Interior contributed in the meeting in which balance of the last summer campaign was made.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, who chaired the Board composed of representatives of the City of San Javier, Delegation of the Government, Civil Guard and Local Police, highlighted the effectiveness of the security bodies that throw statistics and thanked his work in Citizen and road safety matters as well as during the DANA including Civil Protection also present at today's meeting.
Among other issues related to citizen security, the request for the installation of security cameras in strategic points of the municipality requested by the mayor last summer was also addressed to the Government Delegation in Murcia, whose representatives informed that the file is in the phase of study prior to its next resolution.
