Some 200 vehicles will participate in the V Concentration of Classic Vehicles “Pedro Martínez Saura Memorial†which will be held next Sunday, November 10 from 9 am to 2 pm in the Almansa park in San Javier.
The “open-air museum†of old vehicles will mainly host cars, although there will also be trucks, motorcycles and even bicycles that are over 25 years old, which must be at least considered to be classics, although most will exceed 30 years entering the historical classification.
Marcos Gracia, president of the Friends of Museums Association that works in the organization of the Meeting with the Mar Menor Classic Automobile Club has highlighted the numerous participation this year in which there will be clubs from different points of the Region and neighboring provinces such as from the Alicante city of Torrevieja from where English clubs have joined to show their impeccable Mustang, among others.
The exhibition will feature this year a thematic section dedicated to the centennial Renault with various vehicles that will show the evolution of the French brand.
At 12h the event will be held in memory of Pedro Martínez Saura, who was one of the most active members of the Organizing Club in a meeting that in five years has gone from twenty vehicles to the more than 200 expected this year.
There will also be a memory on the commemorative T-shirts of José Andrés Lorente, who died recently and who for 10 years was president of the Friends of Museums Association.
