The campaign "In your park or in mine" dedicates its next appointment on Saturday November 16 to the water mill "El Maestre", in San Javier, which has been recently restored and will focus, on this occasion, the activities organized for the family audience at the monthly meeting organized by the Department of Parks and Gardens to promote the children's playgrounds in the municipality.
The Councilor for Parks and Gardens, María Dolores Ruiz and the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez presented this morning the activity, in which both councilors collaborate, with the mill as the protagonist of a didactic action through a theatrical story about what a mill is of water and what these mills meant for the inhabitants of the area in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
The day that will begin at 10:30 am next to the mill located in the parking lot of the El Molino shopping center, will include a breakfast for children and adults, a circus show, acrobatics and balance with a company that will use everyday objects related to the historical context of the mill.
There will also be traditional games for everyone and a raffle, among the children attending, of two tickets to witness the musical "The Emperor's New Costume" by La Ferroviaria, which can be seen during the upcoming Christmas campaign in Santiago de la Ribera.
The mayor of Parks and Gardens, María Dolores Ruiz reminded the children to bring the campaign booklet, in which they are stamping their assists to the different appointments of "In your park or in mine" since from five stamps, You can choose to win a bike at the end of the year.
The draw will take place at the last appointment of 2019, which will be held on December 14 in the "José Ruiz Manzanares" park and will be dedicated to Christmas with the visit of Santa Claus.
