The Bethlehem of Playmobil flies to San Javier with more than 5000 pieces of the famous plastic figures created by a German company in the early 70s, inspired by children's drawings.
El Belén, whose figures belong to the Murcia association Sureclick that has been responsible for the assembly sponsored by Hidrogea, occupies one of the exhibition halls of the San Javier Museum where you can visit every day from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm until January 6th.
The Councilor for Culture, David Martínez stressed that the original belenistic set increases its size and number of figures compared to last year when it received more than 15,000 visits.
The nativity scene, which likes and surprises both young and old, "is a fun way to bring the Belenistic tradition to the youngest," said the mayor of Culture who stressed the faithfulness of the assembly to the biblical texts and their parallelism with the nativity scenes classics
The Bethlehem of Playmobil is one of the nativity scenes that can be seen this year in the municipality of San Javier, which also highlights the Belén de la Marquesa, of Neapolitan court, the smallest and most original of the Association of Friends of Bethlehem of San Javier, which can already be seen in the lobby of the City Hall.
No less original is the award-winning Belén Marinero from Santiago de la Ribera, also the work of the local association Friends of Bethlehem that was inaugurated last weekend in the heat of the Santiago Apóstol rondalla.
The group that last year won the first prize of the regional nativity contest organized by the CARM, merges the idiosyncrasy of the Mar Menor with the biblical prints resulting in recognizable landscapes and customs such as fishermen scenes, the procession of the Virgen del Carmen or the hermitage of San Blas, among other localist winks that make it unique.
The Bethlehem of the Manga del Mar Menor that can already be visited, the center of Dos Mares, and those of La Grajuela and El Mirador are included in the belenistic circuit of the municipality in which the "Belén de España stands out for its age and dimensions" "of San Javier whose assembly in the Plaza de España is delayed by coinciding with the festivities that will be inaugurated on December 20.
