The general director of the Mar Menor, Miriam Pérez, today chaired the Monitoring Commission for the state of the Mar Menor, which was attended by representatives of the town councils, the Scientific Committee and various departments of the Regional Administration and in which it was reported, as every week, the point where the flora and fauna of the lagoon is located and the work being done for its recovery.
During the Commission the last parameters about the ecological status of the Mar Menor were offered, highlighting that chlorophyll drops from 7.4 to 4.38;
turbidity drops from 5.6 to 5.28 FTU;
the temperature drops from 13.59 to 13.35 degrees;
the salinity drops slightly from 39.36 to 39.29 grams / liter, and the oxygen stands at 8.19 micrograms / liter.
In addition, it took stock of "all the meetings held during the last week in relation to the drafting of the Decree Law of the Mar Menor, to collect the final impressions of all sectors," said Pérez.
This afternoon (18:30 hours) the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment, Antonio Luengo, will hold a meeting in San Javier with representatives of all sectors involved in the writing of the text, “to present them jointly the draft Decree Law â€.
