Students of the Professional Certification course as a warehouse assistant taught in San Javier through the SEF will be able to complete the course practices at the Leroy Merlin store in San Pedro del Pinatar, thanks to the collaboration agreement signed today at the City Council of San Javier by the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the director of the company in the area, Alejandro Gabriel Hammerling.
The collaboration agreement signed today will allow part of the 14 students, who have already completed the theoretical part of the course, to carry out their professional practices in the Leroy Merlin store, in San Pedro del Pinatar, where they will complete a total of 40 hours guided by professionals.
The rest will be done in another company in the area with which an identical agreement will be signed.
The City Council will be responsible for the civil liability and accident insurance of students who, once completed the internships, will obtain the professional certification that enables them, among other things, for the handling of forklifts.
The mayor, José Miguel Luengo thanked the head of Leroy Merlin for his collaboration with the signing of the agreement signed today, and in a special way "the collaboration of Leroy Merlin with the municipality during the floods."
