José Sanmartín Barrios known as “Pepe el del Trabuco†began in 1955 with the Los Cazadores bar on Sandoval Avenue, from where he went to the current location at the entrance of Santiago de la Ribera, next to the old street “Las Heras†a The one that now gives its name.
His entrepreneurial character led him to expand the new restaurant "El Trabuco" to solve the problem of accommodation with 20 rooms that later became 35, which ended up adding the Hotel Mar Menor.
