The agents of the Police Tutor program of the San Javier Local Police have worked this week with students from schools in the municipality on road safety and on the uses of new information and communication technologies.
In both cases it is an informative and preventive task with the purpose of informing young people about issues related to their own safety.
In the case of new technologies, the agent specialized in the subject meets first with the students in the educational centers attached to the program in sessions in which they talk about the use of social networks, and other topics such as online games and games. sports bets.
It also makes them see the risks to which they can be exposed if they do not make responsible use of such technologies as grooming, sexting or phishing.
Subsequently another session is held with the families with which the importance of their involvement in the matter is addressed.
In parallel, Police Guard agents work these days with 200 students of the IES "Mar Menor" in Road Safety matters so that young people travel to the Road Safety Park where they receive theoretical and practical lectures on topics such as the proper use of the belt safety, protective helmets on mopeds and bicycles, the proper use of these vehicles as well as the latest electric scooters.
