The Local Police of San Javier has imposed a total of 25 fines, from yesterday Sunday to 1:30 p.m. today, for circulating, either on foot or by car, for reasons other than those allowed by the decree of state of alarm decreed by the Government of the Nation.
The fines for not respecting the provisions of the Royal Decree that limits the free movement of citizens to try to contain the programming of the COVID-19, are considered serious, with penalties ranging from 601 euros to 30,000 and can go up to 600,000 euros before repeated disobedience.
Of the 25 fines imposed in the municipality of San Javier, one of them affects a bar that yesterday was still open "semi-clandestinely" with customers inside and the rest to people who were walking on the street or in public spaces without being able to take advantage of any of the legal exceptions imposed by the state of alarm, among which the purchase of basic necessities, work or welfare reasons stands out.
Pet owners are warned that taking them outside cannot be a walk, so distances greater than 500 meters from the home are not allowed.
Since last Saturday, when the confinement decreed by the regional government came into force, police controls began with warnings to the population.
Since Sunday, both the Civil Guard and the Local Police have continued to control the circulation, sanctioned and cases that do not comply with legality.
Throughout the morning of Monday, the streets appear deserted although the movement of vehicles has forced increased controls on cars that cannot travel more than two people.
Neither can you go accompanied to buy food or to the pharmacy if you do not accompany a person with limited mobility or a child.
Controls will continue to be carried out randomly on any road in the municipality of San Javier.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo highlighted today "the great response of the citizens of San Javier who have assumed the situation and who are willing to continue doing what is in their hands to try to stop, as much as possible , the contagions â€.
Luengo pointed out that "those who are not doing so must realize their irresponsibility towards the rest of the citizens who are respecting seclusion and remember that the State Security Forces and Bodies are to enforce the order of the state of alarm and sanction , in his case, the breach of the same â€.
