| The patching and paving works, awarded before the state of alarm, affect five roads whose deterioration posed a danger to vehicle traffic | The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the councilor for Public Services, María Dolores Martínez have visited today the patching and paving works that are carried out on various rural roads in the municipality.
The works, tendered for a total of 48,392.50 euros, were awarded before the sanitary alarm decree and began to be carried out after the end of the suspension of non-essential activities decreed by the state government. The mayor María Dolores Ruiz explained that the works, which will end this week, consist of patching and asphalt pavement 5 cm thick over a total of 3,044 meters in a total of five roads that presented a clear deterioration aggravated by the passage of waters rainwater during the last floods.
The affected roads are the Los Gallos road, the Garcías de Abajo road, Los Rastrojos, Los Hernández de Abajo, Las Cornelias and the old N-332 road at Dos Mares.
