| The Director General of Cultural Assets, Rafael Gómez and the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez visited the temple with the director of the Francisco Restoration Center López-Soldevila who examined some of the carvings guarded in the temple | The Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, accompanied today the director general of Cultural Assets, Rafael Gómez and the director of the Restoration Center of the Region of Murcia, Francisco López-Soldevila during a visit to the church of San Francisco Javier where they have examined the heritage cultural of the temple with the objective of evaluating the restoration of some of the religious carvings that the 17th century church houses. During the guided tour by the parish priest of the church of San Javier, Juan Prieto, the general director of Cultural Assets, Rafael Gómez pointed out the "rich religious heritage that San Javier has", highlighting the carving of the Christ of the Souls from the 18th century and the Tabernacle itself.

The general director of Cultural Assets advanced that after the initial evaluation a report will be made that will determine the actions to be carried out in some of the pieces exhibited in the temple. The Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, thanked the General Directorate of Cultural Assets of the regional government for their interest "in the artistic treasures that the parish church guards" and their contribution "to restore the splendor that pieces that narrate the history of the temple and the town itself.

" Martínez placed this initiative in the municipal commitment to the recovery of the cultural, artistic and historical heritage of the municipality. The parish priest Juan Prieto highlighted the social value of the religious pieces "that belong to all of us and that are part of the history of the town" for which he thanked both the City of San Javier and the regional government for their contribution in improving their conservation .
