The Civil Guard found out that the young man also frequented these places where it was suspected that he could carry out the sale of substances. Recently, in one of these controls established to eradicate the distribution of drugs in the town, the Civil Guards identified a person who was circulating in the area and who, upon detecting the police presence, dodged and threw an object out of the vehicle , for which he was intercepted. Simultaneously, the agents recovered the package that, after being examined, turned out to contain rock cocaine, weighing 73 grams.

This substance, of great purity, is usually mixed with other types of common drugs to increase the number of doses and, in this way, the income from its sale. In this case, the number of doses that could have reached the 'black' market could have generated a profit of more than 10,000 euros. The 23-year-old Spanish man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health for drug trafficking. According to the investigation, the now detained man was traveling through the Mar Menor region to distribute the doses of cocaine among his 'clients'.

For this, he had endowed his vehicle with double funds where he hid the drugs. The 'Rocablanca' operation has culminated in the arrest of an active drug trafficker in the Mar Menor region and, thereby, eradicating a regular drug sales point in the town of Santiago de la Ribera-San Javier. The Civil Guard has seized 73 grams of rock cocaine, of great purity, and the vehicle used to transport it. The detainee, the drug and the seized vehicle, as well as the proceedings carried out have been made available to the Investigating Court of San Javier (Murcia).
