| The City Council has invested 200,000 euros in remodeling the Plaza de la Iglesia, in the center of Pozo Aledo, after obtaining the property ceded by the Diocese of Cartagena | The remodeling of the Plaza de Pozo Aledo will be ready for the end of November or the beginning of December, as announced yesterday by the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo during a visit to the works accompanied by the councilor for Public Services, María Dolores Ruiz and the Pedo mayor of Pozo Aledo, José Davó. The work, which has involved a municipal investment of 200,000 euros, has consisted of paving the front and surrounding areas of the church with paving stones, with a space for children's games and a souvenir for the passage of the sidewalk that crossed the square. José Miguel Luengo highlighted the improvement it implies in terms of accessibility, as well as in the urban services of the area until arriving, with a sidewalk to the CN332 that crosses the district and especially in matters of rainwater drainage since three have been included large tubes that replace the only tube that existed until now. The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo pointed out that it is "an important improvement that we really wanted to do since it is the nerve center of the district." Luengo recalled that the City Council has been able to act in the square after obtaining the free and free transfer of the square by the Diocese of Cartagena, which was its owner. The pedo mayor of Pozo Aledo, José Davo showed his satisfaction because "we are finally seeing an old aspiration of all the neighbors come true" and highlighted the improvement that the new plaza represents for the town.
José Miguel Luengo highlighted the commitment to the districts of the Government team that, according to what he announced, has just approved an expense for urban improvement actions in El Mirador and La Grajuela.
