| The regional association, dedicated to the care of the group with mental illness, will receive a municipal contribution of 3000 euros | The San Javier City Council has renewed its support, with a contribution of 3000 euros to the AFEMAR Association "Mental Health and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder" of the Mar Menor region, through the renewal of a collaboration agreement signed by the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the president of the aforementioned association José Ramón Sáez. Among the objectives of this collaboration is the realization of social actions that attend and promote the group of people with mental disabilities as well as the maintenance of services and activities aimed at social inclusion contemplating the needs of this group and family members of the municipality of San Javier . The Association that has been working in the Mar Menor region for 12 years has not been oblivious to the consequences of the pandemic, although it has not stopped providing its service to the 60 people of different ages who currently attend from the Day Center, where they have 25 concerted places, and the child-youth service, in bubble groups, even of 2 people, and online.
