The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia stressed "the good news is for residents of San Javier and the region" the inauguration this morning by the President of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel of an Office of Employment in San Javier, located at number 2 Salzillo street from where she will serve the residents of San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Los Alcazares
Pepa Garcia recalled that the geographical center of the region of influence of the new office is San Javier "as well as avoiding travel to the residents of San Javier shortens San Pedro del Pinatar and Los Alcazares no longer have to travel to Employment Office Torre Pacheco. "
The new Office of Employment occupies 400 square meters and an investment of 958.180euros.
It consists of a large area to the public, two offices, boardroom, storage and toilet areas.
The Office is already in operation is staffed by 11 officers, 6 of them belonging to the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) and 5 to the Public Employment Service (SPEE).
The new service at the Mar Menor will cover a population of over 70,000 inhabitants of which 8,614 are jobseekers today.
San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar have the same number of unemployed amounted to 2,400 persons in each municipality, which joined the 1,350 unemployed in Los Alcazares, as specified by the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca.
